Please see some background on the Australian Food Awards below:
Conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the Australian Food Awards (AFA) is Australia’s leading national premium food awards program. The Australian Food Awards celebrates excellence and recognises the best Australian food producers across eight major categories, including dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, fresh produce, grains and pulses, pantry goods and convenience foods. The Australian Food Awards builds on the success of RASV’s Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards (RMFFA) program, offering broader opportunities to Australian producers to leverage their success locally and internationally with the AFA’s national brand seal of excellence. All producers who enter the AFA have the opportunity to benchmark against competitors and gain valuable expanded product feedback from a panel of leading industry experts. The AFA provides award-winning producers with opportunities for export development and involvement in inbound trade missions.
