Ingredients (serves 2)

2 large biscuits/scones (or shortcake biscuits), broken into chunks
1 1/2 cups whipped cream (lightly sweetened if you like)
1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced + a few crushed with a fork for extra juice
Pinch of salt (optional, makes the strawberries pop)

Method

  1. Juice the berries (optional but great): Fork-crush a small handful of strawberries to make a quick, juicy strawberry “sauce.”
  2. Layer: In two glasses/jars, add biscuit chunks, a big spoon of whipped cream, then strawberries (plus a little of the crushed-berry juice). Repeat once more.
