Is tonight a fillet steak type of night? Well, we have you covered! This dish is super-simple and tasty, made even tastier by using Sticky Balsamic (of course!).
Fillet steak (one piece per person)
Sticky Balsamic (we love Sticky Balsamic Premium Truffle, Fig, or Reserve, or Sticky Balsamic Original, Pear with this)
Flat leaf parsley
Season the steak with some salt and pepper then add a dash of olive oil to your pre-heated heavy-duty, thick based frying pan, or griddle pan. For a 3.5cm thick fillet steak, fry for 2-2 1/4 minutes each side and let it rest for 5 minutes.
While your steak is resting, place a piece of iceberg lettuce on a plate with some fresh flat-leaf parsley and dill.
Once the steak has rested, place on the iceberg lettuce, drizzle with Sticky Balsamic and top with some caramelised onions.
